The Lean Portfolio Management course helps executives, project management officers (PMOs) and other key stakeholders plan dynamically and be flexible enough to adjust initiatives and budgets as the market changes. The LPM course provides the guidance and tools attendees need to work effectively in remote environments with distributed teams. You’ll learn how to connect portfolio strategy and initiatives to the planning and execution of work, how to integrate feedback from participatory budgeting, and how to adapt to change while maintaining your funding vision and roadmap.

Becoming a Certified SAFe® Lean Portfolio Manager requires an exceptional range of skills. Certification includes:
A Certified SAFe® Lean Portfolio Manager (LPM) understands how Strategy and Investment funding is established, how to apply Agile Portfolio operations and Lean governance, and how to build a plan for implementing the Lean Portfolio Management function.
All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended:
Certifications expire one year from the date the certification is earned.
Certified SAFe Membership Renewal—$295/year: One-year membership is included with first-time course attendance or can be purchased separately, Provides access to the community platform. For those who don’t seek certification but still benefit from the valuable content at the SAFe Community Platform
Completion of this course gives you access to the exam and all related study materials as part of your Learning Plan in the SAFe Community Platform. The first step toward becoming a Certified SAFe® Lean Portfolio Manager is to attend the Lean Portfolio Management course. This is a requirement because attending the course provides access to all the study materials and the exam. Note that attending the course does not guarantee passing the exam.
